Dr. Gena Trust is a dynamic and results-driven leader with over a decade of experience in building high-performing professional communities. Known for her hands-on approach and boundless energy, Gena has a proven track record of creating systems and strategies that drive member engagement, retention, and growth.

As the owner and principal agent of The Gena Trust Agency, Gena has led her business to consistently rank in the top 100 nationally and top 5 in Georgia. Her work is distinguished by a deep understanding of customer behavior and an ability to leverage data to create proactive, streamlined processes.

Gena’s leadership is rooted in a commitment to serving others and a passion for strategic problem-solving. She excels at building deep connections and fostering a sense of community, ensuring every member feels valued and supported. Her work is a testament to the belief that professional success is built on a foundation of strong relationships and a shared vision for growth.

Gena earned a Doctorate of Public Administration from Valdosta State University as well as a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from North Georgia College & State University, where she also earned her Bachelor of Arts in Writing and Publication with a minor in Applied Grammar.

As Chief Community Officer, Dr. Gena will leverage her extensive leadership, academic, and community building background to build a premier community engagement experience for BWEL — empowering professionals to lead with courage, authenticity, and the safety and support of community.
